What is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact, safe and effective form of exercise, which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. Regular practice will help improve your posture, core strength, breathing, circulation, balance....the benefits are endless. This method was developed in the early twentieth century by Joseph Pilates.

What is Walkfit™?

Walkfit™ is a low-impact group fitness walking class that is performed to music. It is based around walking/marching in different directions to music. It is great for beginners and those wanting to get their daily steps in. If you can walk then Walkfit™ is for you.

If you have any health concerns, such as a health condition or an injury, seek advice from your GP or a health professional before starting any exercise programme. Pilates can be practiced during pregnancy however, please seek advice from your GP or health professional prior to undertaking a suitable pre/post natal pregnancy programme. The exercises on this site are not suitable for pre or post natal conditions.

Group Classes

Group classes are a fun way to meet new people, build a consistent exercise routine, and take a step towards a stronger, more balanced body.

The classes are mixed-ability and include modifications for all levels and are suitable for men and women. Classes are block-booked (usually 6 weeks), so booking in advance is essential.
