V sits and I have a bit of a love, hate thing going on 😅

It’s one of those exercises I really have to work at, especially if I know I’ll be demonstrating it in class. Some days it feels okay, other days… not so much.

We all have our favourites and we all have the ones that feel like a battle. That’s normal.

Pilates isn’t about being perfect at everything. It’s about progress, awareness and doing what your body needs.

So whether you’re flying through a move or wobbling your way through it like me, the main thing is, you showed up. You tried. You moved. That’s what matters most.

Some moves just don't come easy

Some days I feel like moving.

Some days I definitely don’t.

But I always feel better after I do.

It doesn’t have to be perfect or long, a few minutes of Pilates can change how I sleep, how my body feels the next morning, and how much tension I carry through the day.

Joseph Pilates said,

“Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”

And for me, it’s not about chasing fitness in the traditional sense. It’s about being able to move freely, handle the day without aches and feel like myself in my body.

So if today feels a bit flat or slow, that’s OK. Start small. Stretch, breathe, move a little. You don’t need a big plan just some moment.

I keep active so I feel better tomorrow.

Move today, feel stronger tomorrow

This class took 15 minutes...

You’ll see it go by in seconds.

Looks quick and easy sped up like this, but behind every scroll is real time, real effort and a bit of wobble now and then.

No fancy edits, just me on the mat doing what I do most weeks. Some days feel strong, some feel slow, but showing up always helps.

If you’ve fallen out of routine, you’re not the only one. Start small, start again, it still counts.
