As your instructor, let me introduce myself: I'm Dawn, a dedicated Pilates enthusiast with 16 years of personal practice and 4 years of teaching experience. When you join my class, you'll be greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Don't worry about bringing a mat; I've got you covered if you need one. Just remember to bring a water bottle and a small towel to support your posture during our exercises.
When it comes to attire, wear what makes you feel good! Comfort is key, and there's no judgment here. We're a diverse group with our own unique styles, I'll often wearing my brightest leggings when I feel the world needs a bit of colour injected into it.
Whether you're a Pilates pro or brand new to the practice, don't fret! I'll be there every step of the way, guiding you through each exercise with clear demonstrations and helpful modifications when needed. Coordination hiccups? No problem at all — I always go the wrong way and will guarantee I'll also lose count. 😄
The classes begin with a gentle warm-up, followed by some mat work. I promise, it's a no-pressure environment where you can focus on your own progress. If I spot a small tweak that can enhance your form, I'll quietly come over and give you some guidance (unless you prefer I didn't—just let me know!).
