“Not sure where to start with exercise? Just move.”

For the next two weeks, I’ll be sharing simple, effective movement ideas you can try at home, plus some surprising facts about why moving matters more than ever, especially if you spend most of your day sitting.

You don’t need fancy equipment or hours of free time. Just a few minutes of focused movement each day can support your joints, brain, mood and energy levels, not to mention help prevent stiffness and pain as we age. 💪🧠

It’s all about making movement doable, not daunting. Because when in doubt... just move.

👉 Save the posts, try the moves, share with a friend, let’s make movement a habit together and Just Move in June!

Staying active isn’t about pushing harder – it’s about moving smarter. Pilates builds strength, balance and mobility in a way that protects your joints and keeps you active long term. Whether you want to keep playing sport, chase after grandkids or just feel better in your own body, Pilates can help.

It’s never too late to start. In fact, many men find their balance, flexibility and strength improve in midlife once they begin regular Pilates. Joseph Pilates was still practising into his 80s, and if it worked for him, it can work for you too 💪

Stress is a silent health risk, and many men carry it in their shoulders, back and gut.

Pilates includes focused, deep breathing that helps calm the nervous system and reduce stress levels. This kind of breathing can lower cortisol (the stress hormone), improve sleep and boost focus 😬

Breathing well helps your body move better too, this can help with any other sports you may do. It activates your deep core, improves oxygen flow and even reduces pain. So the next time you feel overwhelmed or tense, don’t just power through – pause and take a breath. Pilates teaches you how.

Try this breath today and see if it calms the mind.

Better Breathe, Focus More
