Slow and Steady = Strong and Steady šŸ’™šŸ¢

When it comes to Pilates, speed is definitely NOT the goal. šŸš«šŸ’Ø Did you know? Controlled, deliberate movements actually activate your muscles more effectively than fast, rushed ones. It’s all about precision – engaging the right muscles, moving with intention and connecting your breath to your body.

Take the humble roll-up, for example. Slowly peeling your spine off the mat one vertebra at a time does wonders for your core and back strength. Rushing through it? You’re likely just relying on momentum.

So next time you’re in class, slow down. Breathe deeply. Feel every part of the movement. Trust the process – that’s where the magic (and strength!) happens. 🌟
