šŸ£šŸ« Happy Easter

Easter weekend has arrived which usually means two things… chocolate and a slightly slower pace of life. And I’m absolutely here for both. Movement doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Pilates has always been about balance in the body and in life so yes, the chocolate can stay on the menu.

So here’s a little Easter movement idea if you fancy it. Every time you unwrap an egg or grab a chocolate treat, add in a quick Pilates move.

Roll Down to reach the chocolate on the table.

A few Squats before you sit down with your cuppa.

Maybe even a Side Plank if you’re feeling brave and want to earn that extra bite.

Short bursts of movement like this can wake up the deeper muscles that support the spine and hips. It’s one of the reasons Pilates can leave you feeling taller and more mobile even after just a few minutes on the mat.

Whether you’re egg hunting with family, having a quiet day at home or just enjoying a well earned rest, take a moment to stretch, move a little and enjoy the day.

Right… I’m off to do a roll down and reach for my first egg. šŸ«šŸ˜„
