Happy Saturday! Here's your weekly breathing reset, and this week's technique is one of my favourites. 💜
Meet Bhramari or Humming Breath. It sounds a little unusual but it is genuinely one of the most calming breathing techniques there is. 🐝
Try it now 👇
• Close your eyes and take a full breath in through your nose
• As you exhale, make a gentle humming sound, like a soft hmmm
• Feel the vibration in your chest and face
• Repeat 6–8 times
The vibration from the hum activates your vagus nerve, a key part of your parasympathetic nervous system, which sends a direct signal to your brain to calm down. 🌿
Yes, it might feel a bit silly at first. Try it anyway. 😄
