Alcohol & Mental Health 🧠🍷

We often reach for a drink to take the edge off — a tough day, a stressful moment, or just to feel a bit lighter. But alcohol doesn’t fix the problem. In fact, it can make anxious thoughts or low mood worse, especially the next day when your body’s recovering 😞


If you’re feeling out of sorts, movement might be the better option. A few minutes of mindful breathing, side bends or gentle Pilates stretches can offer calm and clarity — without the emotional dip afterwards 🌬️🧘‍♀️


It helps shift energy, clear your head and reconnect you to your body — something alcohol simply can’t do 💫


Tonight, if you’re tempted to pour a glass to ‘unwind’, try rolling out your mat instead. You might be surprised how much better you feel after just a few minutes of moving and breathing ✨
