If sitting still sends your mind racing, try moving meditation instead. Pilates helps you connect breath to movement, keeping you anchored in the now. Focus on how your body feels, the rhythm of your breath, and the strength in your core.
If walking is your thing, then next time you're out getting your steps in be aware of your breath, your posture, the trees moving in the wind. All these things make you focus on the world around you, allowing the mind to calm.
