Mindful Monday! đź’ś

Today we're bringing the breath and movement together.


This is a simple but deeply effective practice that takes any gentle movement and turns it into a mindful, breath-led experience.


Try it now 👇

• Stand or sit tall and take a natural breath in through your nose for 4 counts

• As you exhale, make the out-breath twice as long — 8 counts through gently pursed lips

• With each exhale, add a slow movement — a shoulder roll, a gentle side stretch, a neck release

• Let the breath lead the movement, not the other way around


When you link a long exhale with movement, you activate your parasympathetic nervous system, the rest and digest response, far more powerfully than breath alone. 🌿


This is essentially what we do in every Pilates class. The breath leads. The body follows. And in doing so, the mind settles. đź’ś
