Breathing Reset

🌸 Here's your weekly breathing reset.


This week I'm sharing Resonance Breathing, also known as coherent breathing, and it is one of the most researched and deeply effective techniques for calming the nervous system. 💜


The idea is simple. Breathe at a rate of approximately five breath cycles per minute — which means roughly 5 seconds in and 5 seconds out.


Try it now 👇

• Breathe in slowly through your nose for 5 counts

• Breathe out slowly through your nose for 5 counts

• No pausing — just a smooth, continuous rhythm

• Repeat for 5–10 minutes


At this pace, your breath naturally synchronises with your heart rate variability, creating a state of physiological coherence that has been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety and improve emotional regulation.


This is the breathing technique used by many professional athletes, therapists and meditation teachers to achieve a state of genuine calm. 🌿
