Pilates: Not Just for Women

“Think Pilates Is Just Stretching? Think Again.”

Pilates was created by a man, Joseph Pilates, who developed it as a system to help injured soldiers recover during WWI. It was originally called "Contrology" and focused on controlled, efficient movement to build strength from the inside out. Over time, dancers and athletes adopted it to improve performance and prevent injury.

Modern Pilates is a powerhouse of strength, flexibility and mobility training. It targets deep core muscles, improves posture and helps with recovery. It’s not about being bendy or graceful – it’s about building resilience. If you lift weights, run or play sports, Pilates can help you do it better – and with fewer injuries 💪

If you're interested in giving Pilates a try comment 'I'm interested' for information.
