🌿 Try this move today — Back Extension with Hands on Lower Spine.

This version of a back extension is great for building strength through the back of the body. Lying face down, you place your hands gently on your lower back and lift your chest away from the mat as you lengthen the arms, pushing the hands down the spine. This uses the muscles of your back to create the movement rather than pushing through your hands.

It's a subtle lift, but you'll feel it working all the way through your posterior chain.

✨ Benefits:

• Strengthens the core muscles and spinal extensors

• Improves pelvic stability and lower back endurance

• Supports everyday movement like climbing stairs and lifting

• Encourages controlled movement and breath awareness

Keep the lift low and long, it's about the length over how high you lift.
