Breast Cancer Awareness Month

1 min read

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

Breast awareness is about knowing what's normal for you and noticing when something changes.

We spend a lot of time talking about looking after our bodies through movement, but looking after ourselves is about more than exercise.

It's also about being aware of our bodies and noticing when something feels or looks different.

Getting to know what's normal for you can make it easier to recognise a change. That doesn't just mean checking for a lump, changes to the breast, chest or nipple can all be worth getting checked.

Most changes won't be breast cancer, but if you notice something that's unusual for you, don't ignore it.

Movement is important, but so is making time to look after the body that's doing all that moving. 💗

A little reminder this October, know what's normal for you.

Perhaps take a minute today to remind someone you care about to know what's normal for them too.
