That’s where your core comes in, it’s your centre of strength and stability, your body’s natural armour.
Today’s movement is all about waking up those deep abdominal muscles, supporting your back, and helping you move with confidence through the festive chaos. Even small activations count: a gentle draw-in of the belly, a mindful lift of the ribcage, or a subtle tilt of the pelvis can make a real difference.
Try this exercise today, can you do 8 slow repetitions, focusing on connecting breath with movement. Feel each muscle gently engage without straining. Notice the subtle warmth in your torso and the sense of stability it brings.
