🚪 Try this move today, Standing Hip Opener.
The Standing Hip Opener is a wonderful mobility exercise that targets the hip joint in a lovely, circular way, and it's particularly brilliant for anyone working on balance and single leg stability. 💜
Standing tall (use a wall or chair for support if needed), lift one knee to the front, open it out to the side like a book, then close and lower back down.
✨ Benefits:
• Improves hip mobility and joint range of motion
• Challenges single leg balance and stability
Balance training is one of the most important things we can do as we get older, it keeps us moving confidently and reduces the risk of falls. For those living with Parkinson's, regularly challenging your balance in a safe, controlled way can make a real difference to day-to-day movement and confidence. 💪
Remember to do both sides, and notice if one hip feels tighter than the other!
