World Mental Health Day - Mental Wellbeing

Looking after our mental wellbeing doesn't have to mean exercise solving everything.

Exercise is often talked about in terms of what it does for our bodies, but sometimes one of the nicest things about moving is simply having something else to focus on for a while.

A walk outside, a Pilates class, some strength work or whatever movement you enjoy can give you a change of scene and a little time away from everything else competing for your attention.

It doesn't have to solve anything.

Sometimes moving your body, concentrating on your breathing or noticing what's around you can simply give your mind a bit of space.

And on World Mental Health Day, that's a good reminder that looking after ourselves can take many different forms.

What helps you switch off for a while?
