Heart health isn’t just about exercise. It’s also about connection, routine and feeling supported.
My group classes have become so much more than just movement. They are a place where friendships grow, where people show up for each other week after week, and where movement becomes part of a regular routine rather than something you have to force yourself to do.
We celebrate life moments together too. Weddings, grandchildren being born, children heading off to university. And we support each other through the tougher weeks as well. For many, classes have become their new way of going out, a space that feels welcoming, familiar and uplifting.
That sense of belonging supports emotional wellbeing, which plays a real role in heart health. Feeling connected reduces stress, lowers feelings of loneliness and helps people stay consistent with movement 💛
