Movement Enjoyment

Does exercise always need to have a goal?

We're surrounded by numbers, steps, distance, repetitions, weights, calories and personal bests.

Goals can be useful, but movement enjoyment matters too.

A walk doesn't have to reach 10,000 steps to be worthwhile. A Pilates session doesn't have to be harder than the last one and every workout doesn't need to leave you exhausted.

Sometimes you can move simply because you enjoy how it feels.

Maybe it's the fresh air, the music, seeing familiar faces in class or that feeling when your body loosens up after sitting for too long.

Not every bit of movement needs measuring.

What movement do you do simply because you enjoy it?
