Stress Less Saturday! 🌸
Did you know poor posture restricts breathing? And shallow breathing reinforces poor posture. It's a cycle that many of us are stuck in without even knowing it. đź’ś
Here's a simple reset that addresses both at once 👇
🌬️ The Posture & Breath Reset
• Stand or sit tall against a wall if possible, so your spine is supported
• Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly
• Take a slow breath in through your nose — aim to feel your belly rise first, then your chest. The hand on your belly should move more than the hand on your chest
• Breathe out slowly and completely, feeling everything soften
• As you inhale for the second breath, gently roll your shoulders back and down and lift the crown of your head toward the ceiling
• Notice how much fuller the breath feels in a tall spine
Repeat 8–10 times and feel the difference in both your posture and your breath. 🌿
