🌿 Try this move today — Kneeling Lean Back.

  • 1 min read

This is a wonderfully challenging exercise that targets the front of the body in a controlled, powerful way and it requires real focus and body awareness, which makes it a brilliant mindful movement choice during Mental Health Awareness Week. đź’š

From a high kneeling position with your body tall, you slowly lean back from the knee, keeping your hips extended and your body in one long line. Go only as far as you can with control, this is NOT about how far back you go, it's about maintaining alignment throughout.

Use your core to hold the position and return slowly to upright.

✨ Benefits:

• Strengthens the hip flexors, quads and core

• Improves postural awareness and whole-body control

This one asks your mind and body to work together, perfect for a week when we're celebrating exactly that connection. đź’ś

Try 6–8 repetitions and really focus on the control. The slower, the better!
