🌿 Try this move to close out April, Seated Lateral Stretch.
The Seated Lateral Stretch is a simple but deeply satisfying side stretch that creates wonderful space through the waist and ribcage. Sitting tall, you reach one arm up and over, lengthening through your side while keeping both sitting bones grounded.
Breathe into the stretch and let it open a little more with each exhale, there's no need to force it.
✨ Benefits:
• Stretches the side body, obliques and intercostal muscles
• Encourages tall posture and ribcage awareness
Make sure you give both sides equal time, it's amazing how different left and right can feel!
