🌀 Try this move today — Criss Cross.


Criss Cross is one of the most effective core exercises in the Pilates repertoire and when done properly it is a real challenge! đź’Ş


This version is modified to only focus on the upper body, whilst keeping the lower body stable.


The key word here is ROTATION, it's about genuinely rotating through your thoracic spine. Keep your lower back connected to the mat and avoid pulling on your neck. 🙏

• Strengthens the obliques and deep abdominal muscles

• Improves thoracic rotation and spinal mobility


This is a brilliant exercise for waist definition and spinal mobility, two things that become increasingly important as we get older. đź’ś
